Does anybody know where a guy can buy the hardware needed to mount trailer bunks in Fargo. I am going to replace my bunks and all the hardware, and I don't want to run around town forever looking.  Thx

MACS has about any hardware you could ask for!

What exactly do you need? Carriage bolts or something special?

Carriage bolts, vertical brackets and angled brackets.  The metal "thingers" that connect the trailer to the bunks.

You are right, MACS is awesome...where else can you get a 12volt fan, a chain in an army bucket, and some duct tape all in the same trip?!

Fastenal is a very good place for stainless products and other nuts, bolts, etc for that matter.  Only problem is you often times have to buy bulk.  Not a problem for many purchases but sometimes you don't need a bunch of U-bolts.

When I did boat rigging I found Fastenal and True Value to be the best in regard to tracking down a selection of stainless steel.  Darn True Value up on 20th closed their doors though.

Why can't you reuse the brackets? Are they all rusted out?

If it's just surface rust take a grinder with a steel brush to them and then repaint.

Many have visible rust and a few are even bent.  Not sure how that happened.
