I was looking through my stuff and found a paper copy of the Lake Sakakawea Fishing Reports page from 12/20/2001 to 03/30/2003.  I have been reading through it today and it brings back alot of memories. I read my reports and I can remember the details from each day. Incredible what a detailed fishing report can do for triggering lost or burried information from your memory.  Lots of fun reading through it.  Lots of great and informative reports from people who love Lake Sakakawea.

I have reports from archer109, lar, slipbobber, Eyeman, lv2fsh, Nutherbeer, rap^, Pikeman, mxdco, hoss, nilsmaster, Shootsul, Jighead, bauer0147, Mikkelsen, bucky1, hoff4461, rezleb, Wheatie, djsrebel, lazer mag, fishon, lilfisherman, wal-i-huntr, Backwater Eddy, Goatboy, soulfish, lundnisswa, mprime, jigeroo, craneless, tobgarden, dukslyr71, pawalleye, eyewonder and many more!

That nilsmaster guy posted umpteen million reports back then!  He had more time to fish than a pelican with a broken wing!

The reports page was a gold mine back then for people willing to help out their fellow fishing buddies.  It was a great resource when trying to figure out those walleye on that large impoundment.  Most everyone posted reports here and there.  I would like to see Sakakawea rise back to the level of walleye fishing from years past.  Shouldn't be long and we will be there once again.

I miss nilsmaster.  Maybe I miss the fishing then.  I guess I miss both.

I will post some of the more notable reports from the past periodically.  Kind of neat to relive the past and compare it to the present.  I have to retype them all so It will be one here and there.  I believe there is one where nilsmaster and friends catch several larger pike in February with some decent unexpected eyes mixed in there.
