What a great week on Lake of the Woods. This was my big Muskie for the week 37" meet a ton of great folks and had a blast fishing. I tell you one thing I have never been so tired after a day of fishing then at anytime during this trip. The largest fish caught by a vet was 48"

Re:Congratulations, nice fish. How many casts did you average per fish? That has to be exciting when they hit on the figure 8. I wish I would've known that trick when I was 13 in Manaki, I had a pig follow my daredevil numerous times to the boat but would not latch on. |

Re:It was a great week with a lot of fish moving. Maybe I will put together a small article about the week. But I know without a shadow of a doubt I had a 50" plus fish take a swipe at a spinner bait. Got one head shack out of it, then it surfaced and both me and the guide looked at eachother and shock our heads. But lots of action all week

Re:yep, he's got a cabin there. stays there a good majority of the summer fishing. he's got a book out on muskies. called "muskies on the shield" he and i make a deadly duo on coyotes

Re:I received a signed copy of his book. We also got a rod and real plus a tackle bag full of gear. I figure some where in the 750 dollar ball park work of stuff. It was an awesome trip
