Not too shappy.  Even though Tracy is alright I would like to trade him for John Anderson.  I would also like to trade Toby with Jamey Johnson.  But I'll take Toby if he sings his old stuff.

Lady Antebellum is okay.  Not a huge fan but they are talented singers so that might be okay.

Kid Rock is interesting, hope he keeps it more rock/country instead of just pure rock.  I would probably faint if Hank walked out with him though.  Love those two singing together.

Nitty...pretty excited about them.

Charlie...can the guy still get it done?  Kinda excited to find out.

Toby and Kid are two of the best live entertainers around.  They did quite well getting those two!  Kid will definitley play country and some rock.  He knows how to play the crowd and plays to what the crowd wants.

Not too excited about it. Lady Antebellum will be the biggest draw, considering they pretty much dominated all the  awards shows this last year. Kid Rock will be popular too. Not really a kid rock fan, but I've heard he puts on a good show.....thats all that really matters anyway, I guess. Just as long as they don't run out of that $6 beer. This lineup is most definitely not geared up towards the younger crowd though. I thought they were trying to draw more young people? Anyways, I'm anxious to see what rock shows they come up with. Kid Rock doesn't really count as rock anymore, well, more southern rock I guess. Guy couldn't seem to make it as a rapper or a rocker, so now he's doing country.

Or got smart, doesn't country destroy other genre's of music when it comes to record selling, etc?  Guess I don't know but thought I heard that a few times.

Destroy wrong word in a quick search.  Country in the top on some studies and then rock in others.  But then there are mulitple genres plugged into the "rock genre."  No idea how to figure that out without seeing a report that explains everything.

I have always heard that the reason rap and r&b is always a top seller is because they basically do nothing but release singles all the time.  Like I said, just things I hear.

Now a days, if you aren't singing rock and r&b or rap and doing machine type voice over dealie bobs or whatever they are called you ain't cool.

Yeah, I don't know. Googling, the results are pretty mixed from what I could find. I was always under the impression that christian than country was the most popular in the U.S. According to recording industry of America in 2007. Country was third in sales behind rock and r and b. Country might be number one now though, not sure. Hip hop and pop are the most popular throughout the world, from what i could find.
