Missouri River (ND Lower Portion) - Saturday, April 24, 2010
Report Details
Quite a few boats out. Saw several fish boated by others. Water clarity was very good. I put in at Washburn and motored upriver 10+ miles. Tried downstream sides of different sandbars here and there with jigs and minnows. Picked up one 18 inch saugeye behind one of those rock jetties. I made it about 1 mile or so past the "double warning signs" before I turned around. Fun afternoon. I am more a lake fisherman but this is a nice change. I plan on fishing there more often as I learn how to go about it a bit better. Allen should teach me. ;)

Re:Hah! Trust me, you can find a better guide for fishing the river than I.
On my 7th season of fishing the river and it's still an enigma to me most of the time. |
