I lost my lab last year to an accident.  He was a black lab and pointed on occassion.  I had papers on him and located the name of the person I got him from.  Does anyone have any experience in locating the same blood line?  I'd LOVE To have another lab that was realted to mine.

If the dog that you got him from was titled you could search on gooddoginfo.com.

Yes, both of his parents were registered.  Do I simply input the registration number?

I am always researching labradors and am familiar with a lot of the titled dogs. If you have a copy of the pedigree I will glady help you out if you emailed it to me. Or even if you just tell me the parents registered names. You can go online at akc.org and type in his registration number as well. bizzzy_b@hotmail.com
