Well now that Labrons show on going to Miami is over (BTW, I hate the NBA but could not escape King James) I would expect the next big thing will be Farve announcing a 3 year deal with one of the most beautiful colored uniforms in the NFL.  PURPLE BABY.

The King moved because he is acutely aware that his Legacy depends totally on winning Rings.  He's 6 behind MJ and 5 behind Kobe who is currently the best player in the NBA and LBJ can't get past him until he has at least 1 ring.

Wonder why he didn't go to Chicago?  No way does LBJ have the balls to get compared to Jordan every day because he might never get to 6 titles and, consequently, can never be the best ever.  At least not if he was in Chicago.

This move damaged his reputation.  It is an admission that he wasn't good enough the bring a title to Cleveland.  MJ and Kobe are light years ahead of LBJ so he better start collecting some rings if he wants to be in the "Best Ever" conversations in the future.

Understood.  But I'd rather keep my millions in taxes and have championships.

He listened too much to Garnett.  Thought it as funny people were burning his jersey.  But seriously, did Lebron have to make such a big scene.  I mean, a three hour or whatever special on it?  Talk about a kick in the you know what!

LBJ is WAY more of a "Drama Queen" than Favre.  Period.  There was no need for all the hoopla except to get attention for him.  Total BS on the "hard decision".  There was no way he was staying in Cleveland and none of the other cities were seriously considered.  A simple statement to the media would have been enough.

And, he should have called the owner of the Cavaliers ahead of the announcement.  Bush League move by the King.  Unless, he really wanted to pull the WWE move by changing from "good guy" to "bad guy".  Maybe he's a wrestling fan?

Lebron put himself out there like no other free agent in sports history. Now, he and the media want to question those who have very negative opinions of him. Lebron sought the attention and does seek the attention like few other athlete's on this planet. Now, he is going to act like he's being unfairly portrayed by the people of Cleveland and the media alike. He isnt a champion yet! Last time I watched bball there was only one ball on the court, that WILL be a major obstacle for his new team.

LBJ will never get close to 6 rings.  Not the way the NBA is structured currently.  It doesn't allow for that.

I tend to agree with your first point.  I'm curious about what your basis is for the last comment.  There are plenty of stars out there now with multiple rings.  Kobe could very easily be in the Finals next season looking to wrap up his 6th Ring.  Duncan has 4 rings and could  have had 5.
