Kenmare Coyote Hunt Results

The Kenmare Fire Department would like to say Thank You to all teams and sponsors of the Jan. 21, 2012 coyote tourney. We had 50 teams this year who brought in a total of 30 coyotes and 1 fox.

1st place

Todd Gathman/Brian Braasch- 5 coyotes- winning  $750

2nd place

Ryan Aufforth/Jared Mahlum-3 coyotes- winning   $625

3rd place

Bernie Knutson/Dave Gins- 3 coyotes- winning $500

4th place

Joe & Michelle Engh- 3 coyotes- winning  $375

5th place

Alex Knutson/ Casey Knutson- 2coyotes- winning   $250

Big Dog

Ryan Aufforth/Jared Mahlum - 35.86#- winning   $500

Little Dog

Josh Cook/Scott Jensen- 20.10#- winning   $500

Tie breakers were determined by check in times on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places.

There was also a calcutta auction on Friday night of all the teams in the coyote hunt with winning bidders receiving payout

payouts were as follows

1st place $4368

2nd place $2730

3rd place $2184

4th place $1092

5th place $546

The Kenmare Fire Department would like to say Congratulations to all teams and everyone who won guns and prizes on Friday nights raffles. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year

50 teams and there were 30 coyotes taken? Since I don't have any basis for how good the results are, I will simply ask. Would this be considered normal, good, or bad for numbers?

awesome time at the hunt. only shot one but it was some tough hunting due to the wind and lack of snow. will be attending again next year
