Trip #8 was a bust. (No Pic)  With the high temps (53 degrees) amd the high winds (25 mph) the top of the lake turned into a water park.  It was 1-4 inches deep and made for a damp day.  One humorous note though, my Dad was with me and when I stepped out of the ice house, he took about a 30 yard sailing trip inside the house.  LOL!!  I couldn't help him very fast as I was laughing to hard.  Anyway, we ended up with a whopping 6 perch and about 2 loads of clothes to dry.  Not the best outing, but it was worth seeing Dad take the ride.

Trip #9 is what the pic is from.  I got back on track and found my first 2 jumbo's.  The walleyes are about 14 inches long and the largest perch is a smidge under 12 and the other one is 11.5.  The bite was steady with an equal number of fish coming on the jigging spoons and the dead sticks.  Another great day on the ice as the water park from yesterday was frozen solid.
