 I am curious if anyone has any info on this. I went to grade school in Spiritwood and our family farm is just 6 miles from where the body was found. Freaky deal.

 It wouldn't surprise me if all three people involved in this were from out of state.  Spiritwood has been expanding their energy park and 90% of the work force is from the west coast, SW and Texas.

It's kind of interesting, but I was looking up crime rates in the US. NYC is actually one of the safest cities both in the United States and the world. It ranks 197th in crime among the 216 cities in the US with populations of 100,000 or more.

I don't know what they need to do out west, but their current model sure isn't working. I know it is difficult since everyone is already hurting for workers, but maybe there should be a call on the businesses in the patch to do stricter checks on everyone's past.

I have worked in the oilfield 20 years, and have not heard of Spiritwood.  Where is it located.

 I M NOT SURE IF IT IS STILL A GO, But the energy park will be making ethinol and natural gas refinery. Spiritwood is located 14 miles eaast of Jamestown on old 10 or 2 miles north of I94.

 Word of mouth around Jamestown says that one of the suspects is a girl from Jamestown, around 22 yrs of age, I won't put her name on here, but she is native to Jamestown.  I've also heard that the other suspect was her boyfriend, a black male.  Nobody seems to know who the victim was.

 If I had to form an opinion on why this happened, I would definitely say that it had something to do with drugs.

From what has been said by reputable source , the 2 individuals arrested are not involved in the energy plant. sounds like a sick gruesom act if what I heard is true. Heard the female is a Jamestown Girl and  the male is  a Black man from who knows where.
sounds like they dragged the guy around before stabbing his ass badly.[Why can't we all  just get along}
