The Bison start their march to what should be another great season.  After the longest train ride in history, back to North Dakota from Washington, I'm ready for some football.  Anyone else going?

Have a buddy that I graduated with and played football with in high school starting at fullback this year. Should be fun to watch him but cant make it this weekend. Wish I could!

I'm there. Should be fun. My 21 month old girl has been saying "Bizon game" for a few weeks now. This team has a ton of talent, potential, depth and character. It seems they have the staff to coach these kids up and push them hard. I'll make all home games, MN and SDSU on the road. It will be a busy fall.

Wont make the opener but still deciding on what game to make the trip for, wish I could make them all but usually only have time for one or two, thinking probly homecoming though again this year.

I dont go around guessing cup sizes either I just know a nice rack when I see one.

Just remember tha Sioux used to whoop up on the Bison back when the Nickel trophy was played before. I believe the record was 35-30.

i wish they would still play that game

yeah,  the big game for the Sioux was the Bison.   The big game for the Bison is a FBS opponent,  long time conference powerhouse like UNI or a NC.

Actually I think that rivalries such as the nickel trophy were huge games. Dont get your panties in a bunch because the Sioux won the most games between the two. Everyone and their mother knows that the Bison have the better team overall.. but thats just becasue they dont have a hockey team, so they have to be good at something!! ha ha just kidding, the Bison are looking real good this year.

How can you be a vikings fan in addition to a gb fan? thats just retarted, anyone who is a fan of both should be ashamed of themselves. Seriously

Lafayette is from an automatic bid conference and have won their conf. 3 times in the last ten years.   Their conf. champion beat out UNI in the playoffs last year.   They are from PA by the way.

Tis nice to win the big game but I'd much rather have my school hold the winning records and the Sioux have just that.  Bison had a good run in the eighties and early 90's.  Other than that, the Sioux had their numbers.  I miss those games.  Well, at least I enjoyed my years in college.  Think the Bison won once...would have to look though.
