Garrison Dam Tailrace - Sunday, October 23, 2011

Report Details
We hit the tailrace Friday night. My first time fishing the shutes from a boat, what a rush! We fished from 11PM to 3:30 AM and caught some kind of fish on every pass. Came in with a couple big cats, a nice brown and 10 big fat footballs. My lord I have never seen fish so fat. OUTSTANDING!!
IT IS BETTER TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS THAN ASK FOR PERMISSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you don't mind me asking was just wondering what method you are using while drifting down in the faster current?  Cranks?  if so how do you get them down or in the strike zone.  Fish the tailrace occasionally but usually jig.  If you don't want to give away any secrets totally understand.  Thanks
