This site obviously is very conservative leaning.  From those of you who are quite regularly the dissenting opinions, do you feel you're treated differently by the moderators/website owners than those who's opinions differ from yours here?

You guys obviously take a lot of flak from the rank and file members, I think that's par for the course when you're the dissenting opinion.  My question is are you allowed to post your views and discuss the topics you want to discuss or are your threads/posts deleted more often?

WSJ, Foxnews, MSNBC, Areavoices, yadda, yadda... under Comments section of every news article, opinion piece, etc. Most sites are either wide open or closed - since active management is a no-win proposition.

I find it rather amusing that certain people get hurt feelings over politics being discussed on this site when NOBODY makes ANYBODY view a thread.  Some adults are such pussies it makes me wonder how they can function in society without mommy and daddy holding their hands.  If I offended you too bad.  I'm offended that you are offended.

One problem is you don't always know when it is a political thread. The title doesn't always alude to the thread as being political. Like a thread titled "Here we go again" heck that could be about anything. I would like to see political threads moved to their own list or at least marked as political someway.

I don't really have an issue with the political threads, but when I'm skimming thru the top topics to catch up on some and I'm not interested in politics it's kind of a pain to click on a political thread 7 out of 10 times. I mean do we really need 7 threads on what an idiot Obama is, most of us with a brain new that 4 years ago! LOL!

That's my 2 cents on the political threads.

So once you get the point quit reading. The problem is that politics get by far the most hits.
I do however agree with you that we all knew 4 yrs ago about our president

I do most of the time. Like I said it just gets to be a pain when there are 6 out of 10.

I'm not so much thinking about the folks who don't like the political stuff.  I'm more so wondering about the folks who are often engaged in the political threads but quite regularly have a dissenting opinion compared to the bulk of the membership.

The only time I've seen a political thread get axed is if things got way out of hand and people just started insulting other people.
