Re:Birdman,
How long are you gonna be up there for; I think I still owe you a adult beverage!!! Shore bite in the early morning and early afternoon till dark has continued to be awesome, only problem is you need to sort through the dinks. 6 mile bridge has been hit or miss but very few people are fishing it, you wont catch as many fish but the ones they are catching are decent. The mauvee coulle bridge has been doing good, quite a few people though, "dinks are us" is it's unoffical name this year but if you fish there long enough you will get a few keepers out. 20 and 57 bridges have also been ok, best fished when the wind is pushing current through to the oppisite side. Bait of choice from what I have heard has been worms on a jig with a white twister tail jigged back slowly, a dead stick or a lindy rig set up. Also seen a few that were having decent luck around a weedbed with bobbers from shore. If you are gonna be up over the weekend, drop me a PM with your phone number and we can get together for a cocktail Saturday after my tournament. Good Luck and Good Fishin' Eric T |

Re:I was up in devils lake a week ago fishing the 57 bridge. Used a lindy rig with a leech slowly moved on the bottom seemed to work best. the guy next to me limited out in an hour and between two of us we caught 8 walleye 2 were 4lbs and the rest were 2 to 3lb eaters.
