Report Details
Fished Saturday and Sunday on the big water.  It was great getting the boat back on the water.  The Flats had water temps of ~51 degrees and pelican was ~54.  I found some areas near 58 and that's where we found the eyes.  Had one that even went 27.75 inches.  We caught them on shad raps and husky jerks.  The south side of Grahm's Island had a number of logs floating around and one was stuck into the ground just southeast of the Grahm's Island dock.  There is another good log stuck into the ground on the west side of the cormorant trees and other than that, I didn't see anything that would put a hole in the boat.
Every where we fished we found pike.  Merc even learned how to swim.  On the first pitch I didn't even get the chance to bring my crank in and he jumped into the water.  I looked down and saw his ears straight up and tail wagging.  His genetics turned on and he swam a few figure-eights while I fished him out.  He had that look on his face, "Daddy!  Why did you let me do that?"  Good weekend and he didn't jump in after that.
Hail the Bison!

Funny, my dog says why dont you let me do that!! LOL

Two weekends ago it was like a mine field of debris on the west side of Ghrams, must have started shifting south, good too know, will be back up in two weeks.

Good Luck and Good Fishin'
