Devils Lake (Overview) - Sunday, August 14, 2011
Report Details
Saturday,I pulled #5 Hornets and jointed shads behind lead. We didn't go much more than 100 yards between bites. We worked between 20-30ft of water. Red cranks worked best. We had 100+ walleyes that day. Kept our limit of 15-17inchers. We also had two perch on the lead.
Sunday,
I worked deep rocks. 40ft seemed to be the ticket. We went through half a pound of leaches and brought our limit of 15-17 inchers home.
We didn't have any monsters between the two days, but sorted through some good eaters and let a number of little ones go back so they get big. Fish are every where right now!

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. |
