Isn't it getting down to crunch time. If they're going to build a new stadium shouldn't they start on in it like 6 months ago?

I joined the military not only to fight for my country but to fight for those that can't fight for themselves. Thats why I'm here.

I wish more teams were like Green Bay and were owned by the fans who have tickets instead of rich people who expect the general public to pay for their stadiums so they can make more money.  I'm tired of these whiny people saying build me a stadium or I'll take my candy and toys to somewhere that they will.  I think it's high time to start telling them to build and manage their own.

I wish that was the case too but it's never going to happen.  teams contribute too much to local economies so cities are really going after them.  and the teams use it to their advantage.  I have no doubt the vikings are getting a new stadium it's just a matter how quick it'll get done.  My gut tells me they will be started on it by fall 2012.

You do realize that the NFL will not allow public ownership and that GB was grandfathered in right? You do realize that the facility will be utilized by more then the Vikings right? You do realize how much revenue the Vikings bring into the state coffers via tax dollars, local business revenue from hotels, resturants, etc. etc.? You also realize that the Wilfs are willing to put up a third of the funding, about 350-400 million for this public facility right? Yet you expect them to finance the whole project???

You told us long time ago the new stadium was a done deal because your rich buddy's and the R's were running the show in St Paul now

it was a done deal until the libtard governor stuck his nose in it.  it just delayed the outcome but it'll get done. do you honestly think for a minute that they aren't going to build a new stadium?

eye is the guy who told us that the funding was going to come from a racino, which may still happen.  But he is also the guy who throws so much shitola against the wall that sometimes some sticks.
