Bitter Lake - Saturday, December 31, 2011

12/30/11- Fished Bitter from 11:30am to about 4:30pm.  We picked up 22 JUMBO perch with the largest 13 1/8 inch.  We used a varit of colored jigs.  Minnow heads was the choice, but they wanted spikes later in the day.  It was cloudy, so the action was not fast.  It seemed about every 15 minutes active of fish would move into the area.  20 FOW was the ticket as we moved twice to find action.  Ice was about 11 inches thick with some standing water on top with the recent rain.  Good luck!
