Bino Warranty

Thinking of buying a used pair of swaro's. My question is if i have problems in the future do i need a reciept or proof of purchase to get anything done from the company?

No.  Swaro has bar none the best and easiest to deal with warrentee folks.  There is 0 risk in purchasing used Swaro glass.

Unless they were gray market to begin with. Then you'de be out of luck.

Get the serial # and check with the factory to make sure they were registered as sold through a Swarovski USA dealer. If not, you may have problems with warranty down the road. As a previous Swaro prostaff member I have dealt with this stuff before so make sure you check your p's and q's when it comes to used Binos.

The SLC is a good bino. I wouldnt worry about the 9 yrs old part especially with the lifetime warranty. They are a bit heavier than the EL series but a good bino buddy system will cure that and make them very comfortable to carry.

I don't know what you are paying for them but the SLC binos are on sale through Cabelas as well for a new set just in case you haven't seen them there. Good luck in whatever you choose!
