I can't find any information on reloading 225 gr bullets for this weapon.  Like how many grs of power, what type of powder and max or min amount of powder for that gr bullet I need help before I kill myself.

Jiffy;
Thanks for the come back. I am closer now than before.
Horsager;
I use two sets of ear plugs a football helmet a double paded shooting jacket and a seat belt.
Huntrut;
If you can hold just right, this weapon can gut and skin all in one shot. If its a good shot you can even save the cape.

can you say flinch?   I doubt I could shoot a 12" group at 100yds with it.    I read an article where the writer described the recoil of a .30-.378 Weatherby Magnum as "fierce".

You better get a lead sled. That SOB kicks hard enough that when you pull the trigger it slams your face into the bench. There is no need for that caliber in the USA. To load something that big just fill the case with 4831 vibrate it and refill and punish yourself

They aren't as bad as you guys make them sound, I shot a 378 on a bet one time, I didn't want to miss because there was a soda pop on the line .  I held on target and held and held  and pulled and pulled and pulled on the trigger trying not to flinch and finally it went off. I hit a 4" steel disk @ 125 yards off hand  . It took all the discipline I had (and then some) not to jerk the trigger.   It didn't kick as bad as I thought it would but once in a lifetime is all I ever want to shoot one. I have enough bad habits as it is.  But that soda sure did taste good.  I would rather buy  a 325 HP lawn mower than a 378 weatherby Magnum

It'd be an interresting caliber to see what a guy could actually get out of it.  I'd prefer someone else to pay for the R&D and do the actual shooting though.

I always wanted to make a device out of an old milling/boring  machine bed  that I have, It has X and Y hand cranks, All I would have to do is clamp her in and and get someone else to pay for he shells and it would be a blast.
